My last full-time position was as the Director of Teaching & Learning at the American School of Asuncion in Paraguay. This was my fourth country and my third role in Latin America.
From a background in teaching math and science, including both IB and AP, I moved into Educational Technology as an Integration Specialist, and then into Educational Leadership. I have been a Secondary Principal in Brazil and in Egypt, and am eagerly expanding my leadership profile into Curriculum and Professional Development.
A native of Minnesota, in the USA, I lived and worked overseas since 1980 at private American international schools in Guatemala, Chile, Italy, Pakistan, Egypt, Brazil, and Paraguay. I am single with no dependents, traveling the world with my Nikon and my Nikes when not occupied with teaching or taking courses. A favorite activity is climbing learning curves.
