Secondary Principal 2011-14, American School of Recife

"Thank God, I have been working for you. All the changes you have brought in for us and for the school have helped a lot: Google Drive for uploading and sharing information, the wikis, etc. It saves a lot of time! Congrats!" - Angelyca Rocha, teacher

"No words to express how happy I was to read your part of the newsletter. Your teachers are reaching out to new tools big time. Portuguese and English teachers are using public domain electronic books with students and allowing students to use e-readers in the class. I'm so happy. It is all wonderful. Congrats!" - Velda Gomes, parent

Principal Internship SY 2008-2009, Cairo American College

Mentor Rob DeWolf, HS Principal, shares perceptions on my internship -

One of Bonnie's greatest assets is her strong sense of organization and her ability to communicate a vision and translate it into a workable goal. ... As a leader, she is highly organized, able to meet deadlines, and is able to handle the day to day stressful situations that often befall school administrators.  Read more here.

Superintendent Monica Greely, commenting on the Internship Special Project -

Teacher Appraisal Committee: Another group of colleagues has invested countless hours in revising our professional appraisal process and has just crossed the t's and dotted the i's on this important effort. Again, rounds of applause to Bonnie Lindgren for her terrific leadership of this painstaking process and to committee members Rob DeWolf, Susan Larson, Joan Knox, Penny Riley, Seamus Marriott, Pery Morsi, Marci Carrel, and Carolyn Jeziorski. This group has done a magnificent job of generating a protocol which focuses on student learning while at the same serving as a vehicle for professional development.

K-12 Technology Director Cheryl Bohn, commenting on curricular and instructional leadership -

Bonnie brings a high level of professionalism to all that she does in the High School whether it is facilitating the K-12 Technology committee in my absence, taking the lead in designing a K-12 Scope and Sequence of technology skills, or managing the HS technology budget. I have worked with Bonnie in her role as HS ICT (Information Communication and Technology) specialist these past three years, and have watched her grow into this role. Not only is Bonnie dedicated to learning new technologies like Smartboards and Wikis, but she enthusiastically and creatively shares this knowledge with the HS faculty individually and during the high school professional development days. Her skills and "can do" attitude are an asset to the Technology program at Cairo American College.

Head Librarian Paul Bartos, commenting on facilitation of HS faculty meetings -
Part of Bonnie's new role has been to speak at faculty meetings, and I have to say that it has been a wonderful experience to see her in this role. What I have watched and listened to is someone who has become much more comfortable in front of the High School faculty. Bonnie shows a sense of confidence, but one with poise, and her sense of humor also finds ways to come out. She takes questions without getting flustered. I have seen her grow, and been impressed with what I have seen, and felt. I look forward to her being able to use those skills in an administrative position.
